01What this site collects
Nothing that identifies you. There is no sign-up, no login, no contact form that posts to a server, and no analytics or tracking pixel of our own.
When you click “Listen”, the audio file is loaded from this site's own directory. Your browser's requests therefore reach the web server that hosts the site, which — like every web server — sees your IP address and the file requested. We do not build logs from that into any profile.
02Cookies
Exactly one cookie, named pb_consent, is written by this site. It stores a single value — granted or denied — and expires after 180 days. Its only purpose is to stop the consent bar from asking again on every page.
If your browser refuses cookies (private windows sometimes do), the same value is stored in localStorage instead. Neither value is sent anywhere by us.
03Advertising (Google AdSense)
This site shows advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info.
Advertising scripts are loaded only after you choose “Accept”. If you choose “Essential only”, or simply ignore the bar, no advertising script is requested and every page remains fully usable.
04Your choices
You can change your answer at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which removes pb_consent; the bar will appear again on your next visit.
Blocking advertising scripts at the browser or network level also works — the pages are plain HTML and audio, and nothing on them depends on ads being present.
05Children
This site is a language-learning reference tool. It is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
